It uses a stainless steel taper blade that cuts from 0.8mm–2mm without a guide comb. The taper lever lets U adjust the cutting length between those lengths for blending and fading.
The taper lever adjusts the blade between 0.8mm and 2mm, giving U control for tapering and blending without having to swap guide combs. It's handy for fading the sides or softening hairline edges.
