Your Rights

Consumer Guarantees

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Warranty

Additional Warranty

This document outlines the terms of an Additional Warranty provided by TRANSFORM-U, which applies in addition to the rights and remedies already granted under consumer protection laws such as the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 to the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth)) and the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 in New Zealand. Nothing in this Additional Warranty replaces, overrides or limits your Statutory Rights.

Duration

Coverage Period

2 Year Warranty

This Additional Warranty covers any defect(s) in the good identified by the consumer within 2 years of the date of purchase from TRANSFORM-U. Your Statutory Rights may extend beyond this Warranty Period.

Replacement of the goods will be provided free of charge during the Warranty Period if the defect is due to improper, defective or faulty workmanship or materials, subject to the specific terms outlined in this Additional Warranty.

Limitations

Exclusions

TRANSFORM-U is not obligated to repair or replace the goods under this Additional Warranty if they have been:

  • Misused or improperly installed, operated or repaired
  • Used or resupplied for commercial purposes
  • Abused or damaged due to misuse
  • Not maintained according to the manufacturer's instructions

TRANSFORM-U reserves the right to replace or substitute the good at their discretion. Any replaced or substituted good will continue to be covered by this Additional Warranty for the remainder of the Warranty Period.

Making a Claim

Claim Process

Customers must stop using the good upon discovering a defect and contact TRANSFORM-U within the Warranty Period. Claims can be made by contacting our Customer Service team at support@transformu.com.au.

Customers will be required to provide:

  • Details of the good
  • A description of the claimed defect and when it was identified
  • Proof of purchase clearly indicating the date and place of purchase — a legible, unmodified receipt or sales invoice is preferred

You must bear any expense for return of the good or otherwise associated with making your claim under this Additional Warranty. The warranty is only valid and enforceable in Australia and New Zealand.
