TRANSFORM-U is committed to safeguarding your privacy online. We recognise that your personal information is important to you and share your concerns about how information is collected, used and shared.

TRANSFORM-U is committed to complying with the requirements of the Privacy Act 1988 as amended from time to time. The core requirements of the Act are set out in the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) which govern how organisations collect, hold, use and disclose personal information. The APPs also give individuals a right to know what information an organisation holds about them, and a right to correct it if it is wrong.

This Privacy Statement sets out TRANSFORM-U's policy in Australia for handling personal information that is regulated by the Act.

TRANSFORM-U does not collect personally identifiable information about individuals except when such individuals specifically provide such information on a voluntary basis — for example, during registration for subscription or services, community postings, suggestions and transactional areas.

Personally identifiable information on individual users will not be sold or otherwise transferred to unaffiliated third parties without the approval of the user at the time of collection. At such points of collection, the user will have the opportunity to opt out of receiving promotional and/or marketing information about other products, services and offerings and/or any third parties.

Notwithstanding any opt out of promotional information by the user, we reserve the right to contact a subscriber regarding account status, changes to the subscriber agreement and other matters relevant to the underlying service and/or the information collected.

We reserve the right to perform statistical analyses of user behaviour and characteristics in order to measure interest in and use of the various areas of the site and to inform advertisers of such information as well as the number of users that have been exposed to or clicked on their advertising banners.

Upon request, we will allow any user to opt out of further promotional contacts at any time. We will also use reasonable efforts to allow users to update or correct personal information previously submitted. Upon a user's request, we will use commercially reasonable efforts to functionally delete the user and their personal information from our database.

Access to the database containing personal information is restricted to TRANSFORM-U staff members with direct responsibility for customer service or management of the website. Authorised staff members are not allowed to pass on information about members to non-authorised staff without the express permission of the CEO.

TRANSFORM-U may collect and use your mobile telephone number to send transactional and marketing communications via SMS. Transactional SMS messages may include information relating to your orders, deliveries, or other service notifications. Marketing SMS messages may include promotional offers, product updates, or information about upcoming events and campaigns.

You will only receive marketing SMS messages if you have provided express consent. Consent to receive marketing SMS messages is optional and separate from other consents you may provide.

When subscribing to SMS communications, certain information such as your name, email address, and mobile number may be stored in our customer database and managed using third-party service providers. We may also collect engagement information such as link clicks, message delivery status, and message interaction data to measure and improve our communications.

SMS subscriber information may be disclosed to trusted third-party service providers who assist us in managing messaging, analytics, and marketing activities, under appropriate privacy and data security obligations.

All SMS messages sent by TRANSFORM-U include a link that allows you to opt out of receiving further marketing SMS communications. You may also contact our Customer Service Team at support@transformu.com.au to request removal from our SMS marketing list.

Transactional SMS messages may continue to be sent after you unsubscribe from marketing messages, where such communications are necessary to fulfil or update you about an order or transaction you have initiated.

TRANSFORM-U provides users the opportunity to opt out of receiving communications at any time. You can remove your information from our database using the following options:

1. Click the unsubscribe button at the bottom of an email sent to you by TRANSFORM-U.
2. Send an email to support@transformu.com.au.
